Usenet Tools and Config

NewsStats

NewsStats is a software package to extract live data from an INN newsfeed and generate statistics from it.

Usevote

UseVoteGer is a voting software for usenet votes.

I'm not the maintainer, but keeping a repository with a customized version for my own use as well as an upstream branch with the code as released. That upstream branch also lives on GitHub.

yapfaq

yapfaq can post FAQs from text files to Usenet at configurable intervals and automatically adds the necessary headers.

usestats generates statistics about newsgroups by analysing existing postings and creating various reports.

The Checkbot ("Automatic Article Checker") has been discontinued since 2005.
